How to feed Carnivorous Plants with Growlands Carnivorous Food
First of all if you are growing Carnivorous Plants outdoors you should refrain from using Growlands Carnivorous Food The following food is classified as an indoor carnivorous plant Food. Carnivorous Plants such as Venus Flytraps, Pitcher Plants, Sundew Plants, Butterworts and Bladderworts are all capable of catching food to sustain themselves in an outdoor environment such as a bog garden. If growing Carnivorous plants indoors then Growlands Carnivorous plant food is an essential.
Growlands Carnivorous Plant Food Sprays are foliar feeding based sprays, and as such should only be applied to the leaf and feeding mediums, In short avoid spraying the Flowers and use the carnivorous plant food on areas that the Carnivorous plants catch bugs. For Sundew Plants this would be the full plant, venus flytraps the mouths and pitcher plants inside the pitcher itself. Sundew Plants
– For Sundew Plants you can spray the plants bi-weekly avoid feeding during winter.
– Mist the full plant with a nice coating. Normally 3 or 4 sprays will be enough.
Venus Flytrap Plants
– Venus Flytraps show higher growth rates when the Carnivorous plant food is applied directly into the trap’s mouth by using the included dropper. We advise feeding no more than 20% of the mouths at any giving time. Do not feed during winter.
Pitcher Plants
– For pitcher plants drop a few drops using the included dropper into every other pitcher once per month and rotate when possible. Do not feed during winter the dosage can be increased to every 3 weeks during spring and summer.
